Glass Celtic 'Ogham' Birthstone Pendants.
These delicate pendants are made from clear glass, with blue writing. They arehung on black cord with a silver plate bead.
Fastened with an adjustable slip knot.
Brithstones are approximately 3cm long by 1.5cm wide.
They are packaged in our boxes with information on the symbol for each month.
The symbols on these stones are from an alphabet called Ogham, an old Celtic language originally inscribed on wood or stone.
Each symbol has a sound similar to the tree which it represents. The Gaels ascribed magical properties to trees and associated them with the lunar calendar. Each day of the year is associated with a tree said to represent certain characteristics and strengths.
